The kids arrived home from Grandma's just in time for Easter Sunday.
Just in time for Easter baskets....
You never get too old for that, do you?
And collared shirts, pretty dresses and sweaters worn on
a day of beautiful blue skies and sunshine,
that tentively promised
Spring is on the way.

Following church we had the requisite dinner
of spiraled ham and deviled eggs
mashed potatoes and gravy with rolls too
and strawberry cake...
and well you get the picture.
We were so happy to have our kids home.
Our bellies weren't nearly as full
as our hearts.

It looks like they got very tan over Spring Break! I'm glad you got them home safe and sound. I'm sure you smothered them with hugs and kisses and no, you can never be to old for an Easter Basket. ;)
